Preparing For a Tattoo
The Night Before
Drink plenty of water.
Please do not drink heavily the night before your tattoo appointment. Even if it’s not enough to make you hungover, it may still thin your blood the next day.
Get plenty of sleep. This will make you less nervous the next day and more relaxed when sitting for your tattoo.
Check to make sure you have enough money to cover the cost of the tattoo and for any aftercare products/ Watermelon Tattoo merchandise that you may wish to buy.
If you have an appointment but are unsure about anything please contact us. Make sure you know exactly when to be there and how much it will cost.
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment. We may be able to move your appointment to a different day, please refer to our deposit section:Â watermelon.tattoo/appointments/deposit.
Some people have medical conditions which require a doctor’s note beforehand. If you fear this may apply to you, please call the studio ahead of time to verify if your condition requires a physician’s authorisation form. An example of our consultation form can be found here: watermelon.tattoo/cf.
Check to ensure you have your photographic ID; a driver’s license, or passport.
