Since travelling Europe, Sophia has decided to call Edinburgh her new home.
Her style is inspired by American traditional, Japanese illustrations and European illustrations. She loves the occult, the dark, the creepy, the weird.. all of that with a touch of fun -or- sadness.
As a vegan you will see a lot of animals in her work. To Sophia they represent beauty and tragedy at the same time.
“I love demons too, they are part of society and most likely a close relative, which make it even more intriguing to keep what we fear most close to our heart. And for last ornamental blackwork, you know those spiky wavy designs who doesn’t mean anything but you can feel the energy of it. That’s what it is, energy field on a body”.
“About myself, i was born in 93 in Vietnam, i grew up in France. I m a mother of 2 tenacious boys and on my time off you will probably see me at the skatepark, on a mountain or at the beach!”
