Tattoo
Alice oneskinnyleg is our apprentice. She is also often seen helping out on reception, with emails and around the studio. Over the last few months she has been invaluable to the team, mucking in when we have no childcare and looking after the front of shop when we need to be away. Alice has been learning to tattoo on synthetic skin and has been helping Noemi with some of the designs for the weeks ahead.
Alice’s interest in tattooing was sparked when she was getting a tattoo from Alex Bawn alexbawntattoo … “she told me she worked in dentistry prior to starting a tattoo apprenticeship. This made me realise it was never too late to change career path and since then I’ve come to believe that self doubt gets you nowhere- I’ve resurfaced as someone new”. Alice is a breath of fresh air in the studio and is always willing to learn in and chip in wherever needed. “I enjoy Noemi’s addiction to Steak Bakes and Sandies antifashion- fashion (those Crocs man!). Most of all I enjoy how warm the team is and how welcoming every customer I’ve spoke to has been to me”. After the new year Alice will be transitioning from synthetic skin to real living hairy human flesh… we can’t wait to watch her progress. “In 5 years time I see myself working as a full time artist (at Watermelon 
and watching reruns of Come Dine With Me when I get home!”.
