We recently had STV news in the studio to interview and film us for an article regarding sustainability in the tattoo industry.
As the article does mention we are doing what we can to be as sustainable as possible. We have many vegan, biodegradable and sustainable products on offer and in use.
We are a small family run business and whilst we would love to be as eco friendly as possible we have over the years made some adjustments to our work practice and environment to be more sustainable. There is still a long way to go, however the main barrier that stops us from getting more sustainable products in store is the sheer cost.
Whilst our overheads have been exacerbated by the incline in costs of our utilities and staple products (Covid/ Brexit/ Energy Crisis), the cost of buying alternatuve eco friendly products can be much more than our standard products.
We will continue to look at alternative products, however the cost of running a business has never been higher and we are still treading water post covid and post Brexit.
Fuck the tories. Mon the binmen.
